This one gets better every year! I endet up with an average of over 100 QSOs per hour, There are not many contests, where you can achieve such a rate being in Germany!

This year no big technical problems, just the RX of my TS850 was again blown away despite the use of bandfilters. Mainly the 10m RX was affected, but this year it wasn`t a problem, because 10m was dead anyway... The 3 QSOs on 10 resulted in QSYs from HB9, OE and DL from other bands. TNX to HB9CZF for doing this every year for me, hi.

I started the contest on 20/SSB, which was wrong. I scanned 15m before the start and didn´ t hear much activity, so I thought 20 would be better. But after 20 minutes I realized that 15 was wide open and QSYed. I caught a good run on SSB there, but after 1 hour 15m died and never really woke up again. Maybe I missed some oblasts on 15.

At the end I had made abt 300 QSOs more than 2005, but only abt 150.000 points more, because of the missing russian QSOs/mults on 15m compared to 2005.

This is still my favourite contest!

See you in 2007!
