Because of a important birthday of my girlfriend`s grandma I had
to cancel all other plans and had to operate portable style from
grandma`s garden hut near Dresden.
The QTH has a quite good takeoff into all directions. (abt 100m
high above the river Elbe) and I often thought about building a
tower in the garden...
Some heavy winds during the contest shook the beam from one side
to the other, so I never really knew, into which direction the
beam was heading.
I had to check the direction regularly by walking outside and have
a look at it.
Nevertheless interesting what you can do with minor antennas...
