For this year´s IARU HF I was invited by OE8KDK and OE9MON to join the Austrian Headquarter team.
The bottom of the sunspot cycle in sight we decided to go hilltop and set up the whole 10m/CW station in Fieldday style.

All stuff was brought up to abt 950m asl to a mountain near Bregenz and we were able to put up all antennas on Friday.

The contest ran better than expected with quite good rates in the beginning. Of course most QSOs were made into EU, a couple of UA9s, some southamerica and surprisingly YB, HS and VU on sunday morning.
Best DX to the west was P40 while stateside didn´t work out.
Alltogether around 950 QSOs were made on 10m CW.
