Fred/DF5UL and I were invited to join
Phil/HB9FMU and Hermann/HB9CRV in the Helvetia Contest.
This was the first participation for me in that contest as a HB9
:-)
Normally I handed out some QSOs as DL...
The station was buildt in fieldday style, all antennas had to be
erected before the contest and had to be disassembled after the
contest.
Only the station was inside a building. We had the opportunity to
operate from a horse farm, which is on a high plateau in canton
Jura in beautiful environment.
The Contest:
We were surprised that you have so much fun in such a
"small" contest, but as a HB9 station you sometimes
really produced a pile up!
At the end we claimed 1.place with abt 1400 QSOs, see the detailed
result above.
Thanks Phil and Hermann for a nice contest weekend, we will sure
do it again !
