For CQWW SSB 1997 and 1998 I joined the
RRDXA group to activate the club station at T70A.
Felix, DL8OBC (now DL5XL) contacted Giancarlo, T77WI and organized
our trip.
Together with Matthias, DL5OB, Peter, DF6QC and Phillip, DL4ABR we
ate a lot of pizza and tried to work some QSOs during the
contests. (over 4000 each time)
The club station consists of a KLM log periodic, a 40m vertical
and 80m dipole. We had an additional HF2V for 40-160m and another
vertical for the multiplier station.
Because of the missing second beam our multi score was quite low.
But we had fun handing out the rare multiplier anyway.
Sometimes we had great runs...
