In search for a good fieldday style 40m antenna I chose the moxon principle to create a light yagi antenna, which could be mounted onto our fieldday tower.

 

The elements are built of the lower sections of 12m fiberglass poles by spiderbeam (DF4SA). The middle section is a 1m long aluminium tube (60x2mm). 

 

The antenna itself is made of DXWire from DK1RP.

 

The elements have to be guyed in every direction.
